Blog paragraph
AI-assisted copy with stock phrases and facts to keep.
In 2024 our team shipped version 3.2 of the reading app. It was not just a release, it was a turning point…
An AI humanizer finds stock phrases and uneven rhythm in a draft, then rewrites only those passages. You see every change, and numbers, names and quotes are checked so they stay as written. It does not score the text.
Separate with commas. Names, brands and terms of art belong here.
The style check runs in your browser. Polish sends your text to Bookeen and to an AI model provider. It is not stored.
Style check
Many stock patterns found. It’s a style check, not an AI detector, and gives no score.

Opens Bookeen with this as an editable starting idea. Nothing starts until you send it.
This tool improves wording and rhythm. It does not detect AI writing, it does not predict how any detector will score a text, and it is not for hiding AI use. If you are writing for school, a journal or an employer, follow their rules on AI-assisted writing.

An AI humanizer rewrites AI-assisted prose that sounds stiff or repetitive, so it reads more like a person chose the words. A text humanizer does the same job, and people also search for ways to humanize text or humanize AI text. This page lists the patterns it found and polishes only those passages. It is not an AI detector, and it does not try to hide how a draft was written. The hard case is a paragraph that is factually dense: numbers, names and quotations have to survive the rewrite. An AI text humanizer that changes those is failing, so this one discards a rewrite that does.
The style check runs in the browser. It lists what it found. It does not produce a score.
Press Polish when you want a rewrite. Passages with no flagged pattern stay as you wrote them.
Each rewrite is checked before you see it as a change you can accept.
Bookeen shows the patterns, the before-and-after, and a facts panel. You reject any sentence that no longer sounds like you.
ChatGPT, Claude or QuillBot can paraphrase a whole passage if you ask. Use them when you want a free conversation. Use this AI humanizer when you want only the flagged lines changed, with the facts checked.
Use it when a chapter sounds like a template.
Use it when a client draft is full of stock phrases.
Use it only if your school allows help with wording.
Use it to see which lines are formulaic, then edit by hand.
A polished passage should still sound like you. If a sentence doesn’t, reject that change and rewrite it yourself.
Numbers, dates, names, links and quotations are compared before and after. If anything is missing or new, fix it before you use the text.
Light touch changes only the flagged sentences. Use Standard only when a whole paragraph reads flat or repetitive.
A repeated phrase, a long sentence or an em dash can be a choice. Reject any change that removes something you meant.
A fixed list of patterns is searched for in your text: stock vocabulary, “it’s not just X, it’s Y” constructions, inflated claims about importance, throat-clearing openers, generic conclusions and leftover chat text. It also measures sentence-length variety and repeated phrases. Nothing is scored as “AI” or “human”; it shows what it found and where.
Only passages that contain flagged patterns go to the AI model, with the list of what to fix and the voice you chose. Protected text, such as links, quotations and the terms you listed, is held back from the model and restored afterwards.
Each rewrite is checked: same language, same numbers, dates, names, links and quotations, your keep-terms still present, a length that stays close to the original, no chat residue, and no more stock phrases than before. A failed check gets one retry, then the original passage is kept.
It does not translate, paraphrase to hide a source, swap characters, or aim at any detector. The style check is not an AI detector and gives no probability.
If the first draft came from ChatGPT, paste the stiff paragraphs here rather than asking for another full rewrite you cannot diff.
The same applies to a Claude draft: polish the flagged lines, then read the facts panel.
Use Grammarly afterward if you want a grammar and tone pass. This page does not check grammar.
Move a cleaned chapter into Bookeen when you are ready to revise the book. Polish on this page does not spend Studio credits.
| Tool | What it does | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Bookeen | Lists stock phrases and rhythm issues, then polishes only those passages and checks facts. | You want a visible edit and you need numbers and quotes unchanged. |
| QuillBot | Paraphrases text in a writing workspace. | You want a paraphrase and you will check the meaning yourself. |
| ChatGPT | Rewrites whatever you paste if you ask it to. | You want to discuss the rewrite in a chat. |
| Claude | Rewrites a passage from a prompt you write. | You want a long context and you will compare the result by hand. |
| Grammarly | Suggests clarity, tone and grammar while you write. | The problem is grammar or tone, not a formulaic paragraph. |
An AI humanizer finds stock phrases and uneven rhythm, then rewrites those passages so you can accept or reject each change. It keeps numbers, names and quotations as written.
Paste 80 to 600 English words, read the style check, and press Polish. To humanize text, accept only the changes that still sound like you.
It can humanize AI text in the limited sense of rewriting flagged wording. It does not hide the origin of a draft, and it does not score the result.
It is an AI text humanizer for wording and rhythm. It is not a detector, and the style check gives no probability.
The AI humanizer is built not to. Numbers, dates, names, links and quoted text are compared before and after, and a rewrite that changes them is discarded.
English only. Text in other languages is not polished.
Bookeen does not store it. Polish sends your text to a third-party AI model provider, so don’t paste confidential text. The style check runs in your browser and sends nothing.
Either the passage had no flagged patterns, or a rewrite failed a check, such as changing a number or becoming too short or too long. The page says which.
Follow your school’s policy on AI-assisted writing. This AI humanizer does not help you hide AI use.
Paste 80 to 600 words at a time. The shared limit is 6 runs a minute and 30 runs a day for each visitor. Polish does not spend Studio credits.
QuillBot paraphrases in its own workspace. This AI humanizer only rewrites passages that match a listed pattern, and it rejects a rewrite that changes a fact.
ChatGPT rewrites whatever you ask and does not show this page’s fact check. Use it for a conversation. Use the AI humanizer when you want a before-and-after on the flagged lines only.
